Trash

Room 18 is currently studying sustainability and recently analysed the waste that students are putting into our school rubbish bins.

Unfortunately, a huge amount of food is simply being thrown into the trash rather than being eaten or taken home. We also found that plastic rubbish, which is non-recyclable is also a problem.

Read the student's comments about what they found out ... they will be adding their comments shortly.

I think that it is really bad that kids and adults are having to work day and night just for a tiny amount of money.
We get freedom so why don't they get it.They are people too, so they need the same amount of freedom as we get.We need to let them have a bit of money New Zealands money to give to their town and start it running again and so the people do not have to risk their lives and also they need to have fun.
DON'T LET OTHER PEOPLE RUIN OTHER PEOPOLES LIVES THEY ARE THE SAME AS US.
Get them a recycling unit and get a proper dump started.
Also get the children a proper education so they can get a better job to be abel to earn a living and get a better experience of life.

I agree with amelia they are people like us, we are wrecking there future we should help them there's kids trying to survive in that dump, we should give them a recycling unit too.
Children are probably sick and may die kids should not half-to die just from one sickness, they should get educated and maybe make good schools for them.
