Democracy is where people over 18 vote to get a person elected to be in charge. If you are in jail you can't vote. You get to vote for a person to be in charge of your area. You also get to vote for a party to become the goverment. Every few years there is another vote. It has no dictators involved
I think they are saying about the other countries are killing their own men. they are killing their oun men beacause they don't have democracy and democracy is power to the people and choice. democracy apply to my life because without democracy we cant have our own choice. and if we do not want our leader we do not have a choice but to fight
Democracy is you choice of who run the government.Some country get rulers in power that the country doesn't want because of terrorism but the countries that have democracy allows power to the people.Democracy allows you to vote for a party that you think would keep you safe and allows freedom.
Democracy is when people over 18 vote every 3 years on november 26. You have two votes. The people you can vote for is a party (not the birthday type) and your electorate MP (member of parliament). The "winner" is the person with the most votes.
Democracy is when your country or any country votes, for a leader who they think the appropriate leader is ,to run the country and to provide democracy. It gives you freedom to have what rights you have and to allow you to enjoy your life.
Democracy is when people can vote for who they want to be there leader. but sometimes the people they vote for are dictators so if everyone votes for them they take over the country and turn against there people but at least we live in a democracy. :)

I agree most of what children are saying but sometimes democracy can go wrong and there is war. Leaders can go crazy and become dictators.

1.in New Zealand when I'm 18 I can vote for the prime minster and other leaders that I want to lead our country.
2.Mum makes up most of the rules but some times we get to vote or we decide together what to do.
Democracy is power to the people letting them chose there leader by voting if your over 18. Democracy is choice and decision made by you.
These children's ideas are strong and powerful because there are different ideas like democracy is hope and democracy is power to the people they are different ideas but both are based on the same idea.
Democracy is in my life because our country is democratic, my parents can vote for our government.

I think that the children in the clip are saying that they want peace and freedom and they all get a chance to be what they want to be. i think that my reaction that they want to to do more than what they are already doing and i think htey should be allowed to . My patents get to vote and they ask for my ideas about who i would vote for and i think that is good because they are not just doing it for thier benefit but they are seeing what i woould like to do for the world

Why do dictators try keep in power while evrybody hates them? for example ghadaffi was greedy and was bombing his own country just to stay in power because his people were against him.
I think they are trying to say reasons about how much we need to change the world and countries ways people are dieing because they have no democracy do you think children around the world want to be around that well i dont,that video shows that children are standing up for them self's.democracy apples to me and my familys life because with out it we have no rights or chose.
I think that democracy is when the people vote. It dosen't get chosen by force like Gaddafi did, and it can also give freedom that is what I think.
