Rich Task - Facts

Room 18 are currently sharing some of their learning in class with information about planets in our solar system.

We have had a range of styles, including a couple of great radio shows, plays, posters, and even a short 'Did you know?' movie.

Task: What did you learn? List some of the new facts that you know about the solar system and the planets and objects within and beyond.

I learnt that Saturn doesn't actually have a surface. It's atmosphere is practically it's surface. I also learn't that scientists think that Saturn's rings were created by a moon 300km wide was torn apart by Saturn's gravity.

I learnt that Saturn's atmosphere is also its surface. Its atmosphere is 96.3percent hydrogen and 3.37percent helium.
