It was great to see so many students dress up in their cultural costumes. It is a proud moment to wear something that represents your life. Here is a short clip of the Year 5 and 6 students strutting their way down the red carpet!

WOW, there were lots of us strutting our way down the catwalk but there definitely more hiringa students that dressed up than that. I guess they didn't want to show everyone their awesome costume! I was the first one in the line with the English flag draped around my back.I dressed up English because my dad was born in England and I though that I would dress up from my dads culture!

Everyone was good at going down the carpet though maybe according to what Olivia said about not everyone wanting to show their costume!
