Auckland Art Gallery - Last visit
The final visit by the Auckland Art Gallery and Judy Darragh allowed for the final sharing of the Creative Learning Centre design and also for Room 30 students to create some sculptures that will be used as part of the space.
It has been a fantastic and memorable journey and we certainly look forward to the grand opening of this amazing new installation.

The Art Gallery Project
Room 30 have been privileged this term to work with the Auckland Art Gallery and renowned New Zealand artist Judy Darragh. The project involves Room 30 working with these amazing experts to assist and help plan for a new Creative Learning Centre at the gallery for later this year.
The aim for this project is to involve the students in all phases of the process; from generating ideas, analysing potential problems and solutions, to evaluating the final designs. This is the first time that young people have been involved, so we are very privileged to be taking part in this collaborative venture.
The video below is taken from the 3 working sessions we have had. The next visit will be in May to discuss and critique the design options. What a great learning experience!
