What an amazing time we had on our trip to Ambury Farm this week. We learnt about farm animals and how they help provide us with food and even got to meet quite a few. Mr Big, the female goat was Andrew's favourite.
We also went on a foreshore walk, saw some amazing lava flow areas and thousands of sea birds.

Ambury Farm- what I did.
At Ambury farm we made butter and we went into a paddock, read lots of interesting facts on a board AND SAW PIGS!!!!!!
I enjoyed the facts on the board because they had fascinating facts on them. I will always remember Sesame- because I LOVE PIGS, especially kuni kuni pigs.
my favorite thing at Ambury farm was feeding the goats and the chickens because i liked how the chickens picked and how the goat licked.It tickled so much.I liked making the cheese too.
the Ambury farm trip was EPIC we feed sheep,rams,cows (calves),chickens, and goats. One of the goats was a HUGE one it was called Mr big (it was a girl). Also we went to see sheep shearing and we made butter and we saw a pig called sesame she is pregnant if she smells something she goes CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP. We went on a foreshore walk and there was lots of poo and lots of ew!!!!'s from the people we walked back and we got on the bus.
The things I enjoyed was seeing the sheep being sheared feeding the chickens and seeing Mr big the goat
I learnt that chickens can lay up to 10 egg at once, I also learnt that sheep have to be shear before they have babies.
At Ambury farm,my favourite thing was feeding the animals,the chickens beak felt sharp,but the goats and sheep's tongues felt rough.When we made the butter it tasted creamy and divine.The turkeys could puff up really big to say 'I am the best'but if a bigger turkey came it would go tiny.One of the goats was called Mr big she had a small beard and was big enough to ride.

I really liked feeding M.R big she was very friendly and lovely. I also loved the foreshore because their was 2 hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite animal on the farm was a FEMALE SHEEP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a cool and fantastic experience!

When we went to Ambury farm I liked the goats best because they were friendly. I also liked the sheep and I named one sheep Minty because her wole was waite as snow. I wish I cold go there agin some day.
At ambury farm we went for walks around the farm THAT WAS COMPETELEY COVERED IN POOP!We also saw some animals such as sheep,goats,cows chickens and even FLUFFY RABBITS! My favourite thing at ambury farm was feeding the chickens.
